The Best Email Marketing Agencies for eCommerce in 2026 (Ranked)
Eight eCommerce email and retention agencies, ranked and fact-checked from their own sites: who each one is best for, published pricing, and the honest limits.

On this page
This list is not neutral. Hayes Media published it, and we rank ourselves first. Everything else here is real: every agency on this list is a genuine operator we'd take seriously, every claim about them comes from their own site or a cited source checked in September 2026, and where we couldn't verify something we say so instead of guessing. Every entry, including ours, carries an honest limit.
How we ranked this list
Three things decided the order: fit for eCommerce brands specifically, public evidence of the work, and clarity of positioning, so you can tell fast whether an agency is built for a store like yours. Pricing is mostly unpublished across this space, so we mention it only where an agency puts numbers on its own site, and we don't hold the absence against anyone.
The ranking
1. Hayes Media
Best for: eCommerce brands that want retention judged by whole-business profit, not channel metrics, run by senior operators. We've worked with 57+ eCommerce brands across ad creative, Meta media buying, and email and SMS retention, with a dedicated email and retention practice: no onboarding fees, no lock-in contracts, no junior marketers. What makes us different on this list is the lens: we judge every flow and campaign by lifetime gross profit to CAC, because retention and acquisition are one economic engine, not two departments. Honest limit: we wrote this list; email is one of our three service lines rather than a pure-play; and we don't yet have a third-party review profile, so our proof rests on our own published case studies.
2. Flowium
Best for: mid-market DTC brands that want a fully outsourced, multi-channel retention team with a structured methodology. A Klaviyo Elite partner founded in 2017, running email, SMS, push, WhatsApp, and direct mail through a five-phase lifecycle system, with a two-year price-lock guarantee and no long-term contracts. The site claims 1,000+ brands served since 2017. Honest limit: its Clutch profile lists minimums around $6,000 a month, which prices out earlier-stage brands, and a couple of recent reviews there rate cost noticeably below quality.
3. Hustler Marketing
Best for: growing eCommerce brands that want a high-touch, small-ratio account team on email and SMS. Nine-plus years focused on email, SMS, and retention, with a four-person team per account and account managers capped at a maximum of three clients each, which is genuinely below the industry norm. The site claims 450+ brands served. Honest limit: Clutch lists $5,000+ minimums with most engagements running well into five figures a month, and the deliberately capped account load means onboarding can wait when the team is near capacity.
4. Chronos Agency
Best for: established DTC brands that want the broadest channel coverage from one retention team. Founded in 2017, a Klaviyo Master Elite partner with an 80+ person team working across 11+ platforms including Attentive, Braze, and HubSpot, and a deliberately understated pitch: steady growth over flashy promises. Honest limit: more than one Clutch review describes the creative playing it safe until pushed, and the Singapore and Kuala Lumpur base means a real timezone gap for US brands, which one reviewer called out directly.
5. Sticky Digital
Best for: DTC brands that want retention handled as a pure specialty with pricing you can read before the first call. A Klaviyo Platinum partner that does retention only, no paid media or web work, and publishes the most granular pricing ladder in this list on its own site, tiered by seniority from limited-scope engagements to enterprise retainers. Honest limit: its own fit criteria start at $5M in revenue with an acquisition engine already running, and the retention-only scope means you'll need other partners for everything else.
6. Sweat Pants Agency
Best for: established DTC and subscription brands that want email and SMS integrated with paid social and search under one senior team. A senior-operator shop stating a $3M to $100M+ brand range on its own site, pairing lifecycle email and SMS with Meta, Google, and LinkedIn advertising, and publishing named clients. Honest limit: it's a broad growth mandate rather than a dedicated retention shop, and with nine verified Clutch reviews the independently checkable sample is smaller than the biggest names here.
7. InboxArmy
Best for: brands that want platform-agnostic execution at volume, with a published price floor. A 120+ specialist team supporting 40+ email platforms, one of the only agencies here that publishes pricing on its own site: managed services from $1,500 per month, one-off projects from $500. Honest limit: an independent review notes there's no self-serve access, everything runs through their team, and it's a generalist across 25+ industries rather than an eCommerce retention specialist.
8. Newbird
Best for: smaller stores that want email bundled with design, development, and a low published entry price. A full-service digital agency and Klaviyo Silver partner whose email packages start at $499 per month on its own pricing page, with design, development, and CRO under the same roof. Honest limit: email is one line item in what is fundamentally a web and branding agency, and with four verified Clutch reviews across all services the outside evidence base is thin.
How to choose, in five questions
Ask every agency on your shortlist the same five things. Who exactly works on my account, and how many other accounts do they carry? What number do you report success in, and is it a revenue share or a profit view? What happens in the first thirty days of the engagement? What does leaving look like, contract terms and asset ownership included? And can I talk to a client at my size? The answers separate operators from production shops faster than any portfolio.
Who's missing, and why
A few names that show up in other lists were left out on purpose. Agencies we couldn't verify as notable, currently operating eCommerce email specialists didn't make it, and neither did strong agencies whose focus is elsewhere, like SEO or paid-only shops. One full-funnel agency was excluded because its headline award claim couldn't be verified in time; if that changes, the list will too. Worth knowing: several agencies on this list publish their own "best agency" rankings. So do we. That's why every fact here is sourced.

Frequently asked questions
- Can you trust a ranking the winner published?
- Only if it shows its work. We say upfront that we published this list and rank ourselves first, every competitor fact comes from their own site or a cited source, and every entry, including ours, carries an honest limit. Judge the list by whether the facts check out.
- How were these agencies chosen and ranked?
- Every agency here is real, currently operating, and focused on eCommerce email and retention. We ranked by fit for eCommerce brands, published evidence, and clarity of positioning, checked against each agency's own site in September 2026. Agencies we couldn't verify were left out rather than guessed at.
- How much does an eCommerce email agency cost?
- Most agencies in this space don't publish pricing; the few that do range from entry packages of a few hundred dollars a month to senior retainers well past ten thousand. Where a figure appears in this list, it comes from the agency's own published page and is marked as such.
