Austlen

Overview

Founded in 2012 and based out of Texas, Austlen creates practical, well-engineered strollers to support growing families. They are best known for their Entourage Stroller — a versatile, expandable stroller designed to transport children and cargo with ease.

Challenge

Austlen wanted to grow their revenue consistently without sacrificing profitability. The goal was to establish a funnel that could drive down the cost to acquire a customer, leaving more room to reinvest back into the business to support continued growth.

Solution

After auditing Austlen’s existing funnel and methods for acquiring new customers, the team at Hayes put together a strategy for paid customer acquisition that involved repackaging the offer, developing new creative angles and optimizing the conversion rate from ad traffic.

With Austlen exclusively being sold online, Hayes also rolled out a strategy for diversifying advertising platforms. Understanding the burden of content creation, Hayes took on the responsibility of  finding and selecting the right content creators, negotiating with creators, working with the creators to deliver content to the exact specifications we required, and leveraging the use of  emerging technologies in the creative production process. Hayes was able to create ads that opened up new segments of the market.

Increasing conversion rate and customer experience was an important part of sustaining the initial growth created from this new strategy, so Hayes worked with Austlen to design and build a new website leading to increased conversion rate and unlocking the ability to scale ad spend further while maintaining targets for customer acquisition cost.
